What do you receive when buying the Trekrite Telescopic Walking Poles?

I bought these from Amazon as unfortunately our nearest hiking shops have all closed down and we didn’t have time to travel. When the parcel arrived I was going to film an unboxing video but Sophie had got there before me… So what was in the parcel?

As usual, there was a very large box, although with them being long that’s not surprising. The Trekrite Telescopic Power Walking Poles come with all-terrain accessories, including 2 ferrules, 2 mud baskets, 2 snow baskets, 2 walking feet, and 2 pole clips, and a storage bag. And of course some instructions.

How do you extend the Trekrite Telescopic Walking poles to the desired length?

The poles arrived at their shortest length. This is the default and how they should be carried when not in use.

To extend your Trekrite walking poles twist the poles to loosen, extend to the desired length, and tighten them back up again.

Most hiking poles twist to the left to unlock, and to the right to lock. There should be arrows to show you which way to twist. See picture below!

Extend each pole so that your arm forms a 90 degree angle. Take each pole in turn and hold it out in front of you. Ensure your shoulders are relaxed, keep your elbows close to your sides, and ensure the pole is in contact with the ground.

As with all poles with multiple adjustable sections, begin with the lowest part and extend it as needed until it reaches its maximum length. Then, adjust the upper section to the overall desired length. This approach simplifies pole modification while walking, focusing on adjusting the top part.
